The Only Solution

In my entire life, there is this one of the things that I have ever realised. Despite our own efforts to attain righteousness, they are still worthless and in vain. Only Jesus Christ can make us righteous by allowing Him to change our lives and hearts and with that we can be righteous before the Father.

Freed From Shackles

My soul inside these shackles,
Was panting for light,
Which turned out to be oh so bright!
Had I become the laughingstock
Of these pugnacious cohorts;
Like the waves, I was tossed back and forth
To return to where I came from.

 And thanks to my Maker,
Who is the God of the universe, who saw me.
He freed me from my chains,
That enslaved me awry.
Surely, He is my Rock,
My Redeemer, my Deliverer,
Who saved me from the valley of death.

My Reason

You are the reason I survived....

Lord I ask You to imbibe Your Word in the tablet of my heart so the Holy Spirit will remind me of the things You have told me.

A Poem Reminder

When I'm smug,
Pride is all I have,
Put me down Lord,
For I will never grow.

If complacency's with me,
When I'm exalted,
Keep me low God,
For I will never learn.

If glory's beside me.
When I'm strong
Make me weak Lord,
For I will never see
How powerful You are.

Lord God I ask You kindly rule in my life....

I never expected this to happen

"I never expected this to happen" this was what came to my mind when I read her text message. I read her text message very early in the morning while it was still dark, I think 'twas at quarter to 3. My bestfriend, Cathy, put some smiley in it and guess what? I really never expected to pass that Civil Service Examination! Because during my exam, I can still clearly and vividly remember, due to excitement I woke up early, and prepared to go to my examination center. I'd never been there to Col. Serrano, Q.C. before. So I checked on the google map how to get there. That day I was not feeling well :( and my mind had been very cloudy. After I arrived at Ali Mall, I rode a jeep going to Camp Crame. I asked the driver to drop me off Col. Serrano, he just nodded apathetically while smoking a cigarette. But I was wondering why the driver hadn't tell me to get off the jeep. I noticed that the place was kinda "MASIKIP", and I already was at Camp Crame! I asked once again the driver, why did he not drop me off at Col. Serrano, he said he already told me to get off the jeep because we crossed that street. Okay so it was a round trip for me. Take 2, so I closely looked at the signs outside looking for Col. Serrano St. Then I saw the Col. Serrano, and got off the jeep. I was walking to go inside the school, it was a public school. Looking for my room number, I didn't see room 21 nor there was a room 21. I entered room 20 hoping it was my room or there was a mistake in the room order. But the proctor was a little bit grouchy tsk, saying I'm already late though it was 7:30 Am by then I looked for my name but it wasn't listed there. So another epic scene that I was in :D Going out of that room, there was a janitor so I asked him where the room 21 is. He told me it was upstairs, so I went. Lesson learned, YOU BETTER ASK OR DIE :D So now my eyes were brightened when I saw my room :D I was praying "Lord give me knowledge and wisdom to pass this exam." When the questionnaires and answer sheet were given to us, I quickly scanned the questions, my eyes got bigger because of those difficult questions :( I turned to Math question and this time my eyes got pretty wide open! I'm telling you it was very difficult!

So I had no other resolution to this ordeal, I left the result to God. I never expected to pass this exam because most of my answers were just wild guesses. I was holding on to this verse:

"For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37 NIV

I can say that if God is for you, who can be against you? Even that very difficult exams you will be facing soon, or ordeals in life, I'm gonna leave this message to you. Romans 8:31 :)

Oh by the way, my bestfriend also passed the examination! I'm really proud of her. However, I feel sorry for my brother for he didn't make it.

Wait Patiently For The Lord

This is the title that went through my mind. all glory belongs to God :)

My story goes like this, before I really wanted to have an Android phone, the reason? for our test device in thesis. I’d almost decided to save up money to buy a not-so-good android phone, Samsung Galaxy Y. it costs around 6k. Then as time went by, new phones have been released by mobile phone giants. I told my friends that I really want to have an Android phone. This has been a part of my prayer requests to God. I don’t know but God was telling me to wait, wait and wait. I know God has been doing something in me to develop patience in me, since one of my struggles is in the area of patience. You know God wants us to be more like His Son Jesus Christ. He is not gonna stop transforming us into Jesus’ likeness but it’s up to us if we’re willing, right? Anyways, my attention turned to Sony Xperia phones. I heard and researched, which I really love to do, that Sony phones are tailored-best for quality photos. Since I love taking pictures a lot, I then asked God, Lord if it is Your will, so be it. If not, I know you have perfect plans for me. I told my brother about this phone. At first, he was hesitant to consider the phone. I told him the unique features Sony Xperia go has, like it’s water-resistant, dust-proof, and shock-proof. Then let’s fast-forward the months, last December 4, 2012. I didn’t go to the office. I was tired big time. So to be productive, I decided to jump-start coding in Windows Phone 8. My brother asked me about the price of Xperia Go, so I told him it’s about 13k at malls, and 10k on online shops. He then asked me to chat him on Skype. But I was coding so I told him later. He was insisting me, so I gave in. We chatted via video call, he just surprised me. He showed me what he just bought, a Sony Xperia Go! I was really happy because I didn’t expect it. You know, I thanked God for it. And also I thank my brother for it. The bottom line of the story I just have shared is what my title sums up. We gotta learn to wait patiently for the Lord, trust Him and He will do it. This is not only applicable to material things but also to our spiritual needs. If we ask God to increase our faith, He will do it. He said, “You may ask Me for anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:14) but always remember this, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of Him.” (1 John 5:14-15)
